The Municipality of Taysan is an Agri-industrial Second Class Municipality in the Province of Batangas advocating for sustainable Agroindustry. The transformation of agricultural farming into a booming agribusiness-driven facet necessitates in acquiring farming technologies, training in more sophisticated farming techniques, creating stable supply chains, establishing transport, agricultural infrastructure and generating jobs while safeguarding environmental conservation.

The town encourages nature adventure tourism in rich foliage, forests, rivers, and landmarks. It also boost sustainable tourism pinned on culinary adventure showcasing a range of delicacies all skewered on bamboo sticks highlighted in our very own Tinindag Festival.

Happy Women's Month!

Sa pagdiriwang ng Women's Month ngayong Marso, kaisa ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Taysan sa pagsusulong ng temang “Babae sa lahat ng sektor, Aangat ang bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay isang paalala na bawat babae, anuman ang larangan o katayuan sa buhay, ay may mahalagang papel sa paghubog ng mas inklusibo at progresibong lipunan.

Tinindag Festival

The festive spirit of Filipino hospitality and Bayanihan culminated into the Tinindag Festival of Taysan, Batangas, in thanksgiving for the booming barbecue stick-making industry, the main source of livelihood for local residents.

Stick-making activity is a "unique Taysan family tradition" as much as it is a family business. The family-bonding business activity proceeds to bundle these carefully handcrafted barbecue sticks.
